Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Forté Distribution. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Return Policy

Our return window is 30 days from the delivery date. To be eligible, items must be in the same condition you received them, and in the original packaging with all accessories/manuals included.

Change of Mind / Unmet Expectations: Returns for reasons other than defect (e.g., change of mind or unmet expectations) are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Items that are defective or not functioning as intended are exempt from this fee.

Note: Items returned with missing parts, damaged packaging, or signs of use may be denied or approved with a partial refund (see “Partial Refunds” below).

Cancellations (Before Shipping) — 6% fee

Orders may be cancelled before they ship. All approved pre‑shipment cancellations are subject to a 6% cancellation fee to cover non‑refundable payment processing costs.

  • If we cancel an order for reasons on our side (e.g., out of stock, verification failure not caused by you), no fee will apply and you will receive a full refund.

Exclusions

Certain items are not eligible for returns, including:

  • Opened vinyl records or CDs, except if they are defective or not functioning as intended.
  • Downloadable audio or software content.
  • Audio equipment accessories that have been used or show signs of wear.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within a certain number of days.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in these cases:

  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items returned after 30 days (if accepted at our discretion).
  • Items showing wear or installation marks.
  • Items returned due to change of mind or unmet expectations.

Defects, DOA & Warranties

If your item arrives defective or damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos/video and your order number. We will assist with troubleshooting, exchange, or warranty service in line with the brand’s policy.

Refunds & Timing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3–10 business days (your bank/card may take longer to post).

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund, please take the following steps:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank, as processing times can vary.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please email us at info@forte-distribution.com.

Shipping Returns

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on your location, the time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you may vary. For high-value returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
